Jonathan Swift in Etwinning

With one of my classes, we're trying to integrate Etwinning into the literature syllabus. Since these days we're studying the rise of the novel in the XVIII c. England, we've decided to make some videos to be uploaded into our project about movies (Robin hood in Bollywood is the name of the project). Thus, kids have shot short videos in which they imagine to interview Swift on the theme of satire, read passages from Gulliver's Travels and A Modest Proposal and comment on them. After shooting, we moved to the lab to upload their footage. Big fun and participation!

  2. Hi Laura!
I've converted my pupils' videos in .flv extension (with a free converter) and then I've reconverted them into .wmw extension. The name of the programme is free FLV converter _ Tube Finder (http://www.koyotesoft.com). That's what I did, but actually you may convert the videos with other extensions.

  3. It's a pleasure to see how you work with film in such an advanced way! I suppose you have older students than I (12-15), and I do envy you the opportunity it gives to work with a deeper understanding.
    Really interesting!
