Gigantes y cabezudos 2
This is for telling all of you who couldn't see the photos in my last post that I have already fixed it.I include here a video where you can see other popular feature of Zaragoza feasts. It is the "jota" dance , a typical dance so popular that it is included in this zarzuela (Spanish opereta) whose tittle is "Gigantes and cabezudos" . I bet you do not need me to present the singer. I hope you enjoy it.
If you ever happen to visit my town during the feast (around october the 12th) you'll be able to attend many exhibitions of jota .
By the way, I am very happy because thanks to my error I have learned something I did not now: This kind of parade is not unique of Zaragoza. You can find it too in other Spanish towns: Toledo, Getafe, Alcalá de Henares or Santoña and more. What about other European countries? Do you know something similar?
